Drivers can have a “Class B or C” CDL. If class “C”, you must have a P Endorsement & “N1” restriction. If class “B” you just need a “P” endorsement.

Drivers for Brooklyn Transportation must have a “Class B” CDL with a “P” Endorsement.

Drivers for School Age work (Short/Big Bus) must have a Class “B” or “C” CDL with “P” & “S” Endorsement. Drivers for our Pre-K work (short buses) can have a “Class B or C” CDL. If class “C”, you must have a P Endorsement & S Endorsement. If class “B” you will need both a P Endorsement & S Endorsement.

For this work the drivers and matrons DO NOT need DOE certification.
